A trade learned one door at a time

Bradford West Gwillimbury Garage Door Co.

This is a family-run business, and it shows in small ways. The person who answers the phone knows the technicians by name and can tell you who is coming. The van carries the common springs, rollers, hinges and opener parts, so most repairs finish on the first visit. We keep notes on every door we have serviced, which means the second call is easier than the first. Our customers are neighbours, and we would like them to stay customers for the life of the house. That is a long relationship to build, and it is built the same way every time: show up, explain clearly, do the work well, and clean up.

Bradford, Bond Head and Newton Robinson

• Straight talk about the door. If a door has years left, we say so. If it is closer to the end, we say that too, and explain how we can tell.

• Respectful, careful work. We treat the garage as part of your home, protecting what is stored there and cleaning up completely afterwards.

• Time to decide. Nobody is rushed. You get the information, ask your questions, and we go ahead only when you are ready.
